Cool Things in December

Hi Everyone -

Hope you are all having a nice December and enjoying the festive season.

This is gonna be a short and sweet post, but I had a few pics I wanted to share, so here we go.

First, a few more shots from my morning walks.

A night heron who doesn't seem to find me amusing.
My gator friend.
Another night heron.

Looking up at the trees over the sit-up bench at the park.

Giant palmettos
Ok - so in other news, a new juice bar/bistro named Karma opened in Safety Harbor, and it is so pretty.

Here, I tried my first ever Acai Bowl - which is kinda like a healthy berry sherbet topped with fruit and nuts and granola. It was super delicious.

In other news, we got some new kitchen appliances which is super exciting. For perspective, I'll show you the old appliances we replaced first.

Old.
NEW!
Old - you can't really see it here but there's a big dent on the front left side by the handle.
NEW!
The kitchen looks so much nicer and we plan to paint the cabinets in January so it's gonna look brand new.

In other news, I've done some moderate decorating of the house for Christmas. I had a new table runner topped with a giant leaded glass vase on the dining room table. Literally seconds later, Deuce pulled down the table runner and the vase shattered into a billion pieces.

The destruction
It's a good thing he's so cute.

He's smiling in his sleep! Probably dreaming of more mischief.
Anyway, we're skipping the tree this year because we can't have breakable things around this guy. But I did decorate the mantle and I think it looks pretty.

And Glenn did an amazing job decorating the outside of the house.

So anyway, as I said, short and sweet. Hope all is well with you! Love ya!
