Dog Blog

Hey Guys -

So I had a few random pics from my walks and from around the house that I figured I'd compile into a blog post. No real exciting stories here - frankly it's mostly dog pics so prepare yourself.

C'mon! We're adorable!

A lot of people have gotten new pets during the pandemic. Our friends Matty and Julie got this weird-ass hairless cat named Burrito...

And my friend Amy got a new puppy named Lucy (left) to join her current dog, George (sticking her tongue out and yes, she's a girl named George).

When we were away on vacation, our dogsitter took this funny pic of our pups which is a great study in perspective. 😆

As it is late summer/early fall in Florida, we have been having thunderstorms every day at 4 pm for the past 600 days in a row.

This is annoying for many reasons, but especially because Eva is terrified of rain. I made her crate into a cozy little cave and now she spends most of her time in there. Even Deuce likes to get in there, which aggravates Eva to no end. Here is a moment of peace.

Sometimes she prefers to hide under my desk as I am working.

Oh hello.

Meanwhile, Deuce just comes into my office to be a total goofball.

We're very professional here at Callihan Content Creation...

Alright, so let's take a break from the dogs (I know I'd like to!) and see what else we have.

Oh...a snail!

An ibis!

An egret!

A heron!

A stork!

I could do this all day!

Actually, speaking of storks, we have discovered the ultimate stork hang out. This is where all the cool storks (and other assorted birds) go.

Why do they like it here? Well...it's because of the Stork Whisperer.

She feeds them every day.

Let's see, what else? Our key lime tree has gone crazy.

And I discovered this gigantic tree that has bright orange flowers all over it. I have no idea what it is but it is beautiful.

This morning, Glenn was driving one of the cars to keep the battery charged and went over to Phillipe Park, where the water level is extremely high due to all the rain.

It's kinda hard to tell without before pictures, but this sidewalk is at the top of a sea wall that is usually several feet above the water.

But back to the dogs...I mean, look at this face.

And even this guy can be kinda cute.

So anyway, I hope you are all doing well. May you find the peace of a sleeping dog.

Love you guys!
