The Dog Days of Summer

Hi Everyone -

Sorry it's been a while - my work has been crazy busy, which I guess is good, but I've had to work over the past 3 or 4 weekends, which has cut into my blogging time.

Anyway, let's start with last night, because we went over to Clearwater for dinner and then to hang out on the beach, listen to some live music and enjoy some Gulf breezes. It was a gorgeous evening. There were two weddings happening on both sides of us.

So apparently, I haven't blogged since sometime in July, so we need to backtrack a bit. At the end of July, Glenn took me to Ocean Prime to celebrate my birthday, and we ate out on their back porch which has a lovely view.

In August, we had Eddie neutered, which means he had to wear a cone for 10 days which was rough.

We let him sleep in our shower instead of the crate, because he didn't really fit into the crate with the cone on his head. It looks like we have a glassed-in zoo enclosure.

This actually worked so well that now he sleeps in the shower every night.

Anyway, he's fine and cone-free now. He and Eva continue to play pretty much constantly and are best friends.

Today's moment of nature

Yes, he is now as big as she is and STILL GROWING.

Don't worry, there are more puppy pics to come. But let's take a break. How about some dolphins?

Mama and baby!

Glenn got some videos for you too.

Some other pretty Causeway pics...not all with dolphins.

Peek-a-boo!

Ok, so what else? Well, you all know that Glenn is in this Glowriders group now and he spends more money to keep his bike lit up than on our mortgage. Anyway, he's had a lot of awesome rides. I think his favorite was his ride in St. Pete where they not only got to see the beautiful new St. Pete Pier, but also got treated to a fireworks show outside of the Rowdies soccer stadium.

This is the new St. Pete Pier - a massive complex they've been working on since before we moved here - there are restaurants and bars and shops inside.

Here are some more Glowrider pics from another ride in Dunedin.

There's Glenn in front.

I think he also took these really pretty sunset pics that night.

Ready for more puppy pics? I knew that you were.

The Most Interesting Dog in the World

Oh hey - I got new glasses too. My first ever pair of reading/computer glasses...

And my new driving sunglasses for distance...(with some attitude)

Glenn did a nice project to improve morale at work and sent his 60 employees a little package with a tea light in an acryllic box and a handwritten little thank you note and link to a video message he made. It took a long time but people have been so touched by it. It was a really nice thing to do.

He also went to his first in-person Relay event in about two years over in Orlando.

Alright, that's about it, I guess. Here are some more assorted nice photos - the first of which was taken out over our neighbor's house.

Love you guys!
