Fall in Florida: Brought to you by the color Orange

Hey Everyone -

Hope you are all doing well. Work has been really busy for me and Glenn both. Glenn is actually starting to do some traveling again and spent last night in Orlando for a Strides event this morning. So I figured I would use my alone time to blog.

So first, I guess I'll show you some of Glenn's recent work pics. He recently had a Strides event at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. I worked right next to the place for 3 years, but never saw inside...you'll note the pirate theme.

The night before the walk, there was a gala event at the stadium and Glenn got to pose with the SuperBowl trophy and actually wear one of the SuperBowl rings!

They actually built a mini replica of Raymond James Stadium INSIDE the ring!

Don't worry, Glenn is still a Steeler's fan, but they've been playing so badly lately that he has to watch the games with an emotional support animal.

Also, Glenn made this trophy for...I forget...someone who won something regarding one of their Cattle Baron Ball Events. He bought action figures and spray painted them gold.

Glenn is doing a promotion with the NFL moms, and recently went out to lunch with his volunteer, Velzeena - she is Vince Williams mom - he was a Pittsburgh Steeler up until this past July.

Anyway, this concludes our Sports/American Cancer Society portion of the blog.

Unrelated, this is the baby bunny we rescued from a neighbor cat (Sushi). He was about the size of a mouse.

I don' know if you are aware, but it's a real jungle down here. Especially in our very tropical backyard, which, when not flooded with water, is Eddie and Eva's favorite place to play.

I love this pic.

Please watch this highly entertaining video of the pups chasing each other in the backyard:

Ok, so we've also gone over to Clearwater beach a few times now over the weekends for dinner and some sunset watching.

In case you are wondering, my shirt says, "Let the sea set you free."

We also went into Tampa recently for dinner at Jacksons and then over to the Sail Pavillion, where we used to hang out when we used to live in Tampa.

Ok - so here are some random pics. The first one is where we had a giant bougenvilla cut down - it was beautiful but much taller than the house. Glenn hated trimming it and it was covered in thorns (Chad calls bougenvilla "God's razor wire.") So anyway, now Glenn put sod in and the dogs have a little extra room in the side yard.

I realize a before and after pic would have been more impressive, but I forgot to take a before.

Also, one of our hanging orchids is now in full bloom.

The dogs wish the water was warmer so Glenn would take them swimming again.

Eddie looks huge in this pic but it's only because he is closer to the camera.

Glenn continues to ride his bike every morning and has gotten a zillion awesome sunrise pictures, so bear with me here.

Ok...still there? Alright, so now, here are a bunch of sunrise pictures where you can see Tampa's skyline in the distance.

I bet you think I'm done, right? WRONG. You ain't seen nothing yet.

I think this is my fav

This one is also pretty amazing.

Alright kids, that's it for now. Love you guys!
