Pupapoloosa! Celebrating Eddie

Hi Guys !

Here are a bunch more pics and some videos of Eddie for your viewing pleasure. Some you may have seen before, but I'm just putting all my favorites in here.

He was born on January 6 - which happens to be my friend Lisha's birthday (and also Storming the Capitol day - good times!), so he's about 10 weeks old now. Currently 13.5 lbs but predicted to end up being around 65 lbs (yikes!). We are picking him up a lot and cuddling while he is still small enough for us to do it.

Here's the pic of him we found online when we decided to submit an adoption application - back when his name was Tsunami.

THAT LITTLE FACE!

OK - so I'm just going to throw these all in here without a bunch of commentary.

This is him under our entertainment center. He likes squeezing into small places, like this or under or behind the couch.

My friend, Jared, sent Eddie a care package that included multiple toys including this octopus.

Ok, so I'm going to try to post some videos. Let's see if this works. The first two are just Eddie on his first day getting the lay of the land (and bonking his head - which is apparently indestructible).

And then, here are three fun ones that show how Eva and Eddie play together. Highly entertaining!

He has two settings: ON and OFF. Here's the super adorable OFF setting:

Everyone sleeping but me.

Who sleeps like this?!

Ok guys, that's your maximum dose of adorable-ness for today! Love you!

A Tribute to Deuce

Hey everyone -

Glenn and I were heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Deuce yesterday.

He was, as you know, not a particularly well-behaved dog, but he had the greatest personality. So much attitude. He tried to bite the vet yesterday - just true to himself till the end. 😄

He was smart, fearless, and had the best sense of humor of any dog I've ever known. He made life an adventure and we already keenly feel his absence.

Anyway, I had assembled some of my favorite pics of him yesterday that show off his personality, and I figured I'd share them with you here.

Rest in peace, my dear old friend.

You can just tell from this early pic that he is gonna be trouble. :-)

Eva lately seemed to know that Deuce was not feeling well and often watched over him while he slept.

Thanks for your love and support during this difficult time. We are relieved that our little buddy is no longer in pain, but we'll miss him. He brought a ton of joy and laughter into our lives.

Love you all.
