Fall in Florida

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it has been so long. My California blog really sucked it out of me and it took me a long time to recover. :-) Also, we haven't really been doing much new or exciting. Oh, well, except for running from the hurricane, which is not really the excitement that you want.

Still, here are a few pics from that adventure. Glenn got home from a work trip and spent 8 hours the following day putting up the storm shutters in the blistering heat.

Almost finished!

This is what it's like to put your house in a tin can.

So anyway, as you know, we then packed up everything, drugged the dogs, and headed to Ft. Lauderdale, where we stayed at this nice Embassy Suites with a million other dogs.

Here we are in the room.

Glenn doesn't know I took this picture. :-)

Shortly after we got back home, we received our new outdoor chairs, which are super comfortable. We kept the old fire table - they match pretty well!

So let's see. After that, I'm not really sure what order these should go in. The majority of the pics I have are from Glenn's early morning bike rides, which will now be in the dark due to the time change. So anyway, just sit back and enjoy. Here are a bunch of sunrise pics.

Also, sometimes he has dolphin sightings on his rides - so here are 5 pics with dolphins. You may have to look closely.

Action shot!

Well, and since we're highlighting aquatic animals...here'ssssssss Eddddiiiieeeee!

Ok, so we've also had a bunch of rainbows this fall. Here are some pics from 2 or 3 seperate occasions. The first we saw on a ride home from dinner in Clearwater. We pulled the car over to take these.

You can faintly see that this is double rainbow.

This one was right over our house (also a double).

And check out this one in the middle of this cloud.

Ok, back to more early morning pics.

There's Tampa in the distance.

(We interrupt these sunrise pictures for a hawk.)

This next one showed up on our back fence. He's BIG.

Roseate Spoonbills

Great blue heron

For a fun change of pace, here are some SUNSET pics - this first batch is from when Glenn went out with the Glow Riders in Safety Harbor (so the settings will look familiar).

And here are some other sunset pics from our neighborhood.

I love this one!

Firey skies here in Fall. It's amazing.

Here are a couple pretty pics of the sky over Clearwater Beach.

And finally, a couple of knuckleheads.

Working in the home office.

And this is how Eddie greets us in the morning...

Rub my belly!

Alright guys, that's it. Here's a selfie in case you forgot what we look like - this was when we went to see the new St. Pete pier.  Looking forward to seeing you all in a couple short weeks! Love you!
