Hope you are all continuing to do well in quarantine. Right now Glenn has fake tattoos all over his face like Post Malone (a rock star that I'm betting you don't know) and is lip syncing to a song on video for some ridiculous work challenge. So you know, same old same old here.
Otherwise, it's been pretty darn quiet.
Ah hell...it's like he HEARD me. He is barking at me as we speak. Sigh.
Glenn and I did a virtual 5K walk last weekend - we actually walked - the virtual part is that everyone did it on their own. I took this pic that he submitted as proof, although we could have easily staged it.
We also have been having virtual Happy Hours with some friends...I hope we have these less frequently because they are even more annoying than in-person Happy Hours. But still - here's a pic of my friend Julie (who "micro-crimped" her hair for the occasion) and her ginormous doberman, Pops. I said this looks like an epic album cover.
Julie is making Glenn and I custom masks which gave us the rare opportunity to measure our faces - very exciting!
Today we got an order from a local farm that delivers for free! Yaaaaayyyyy!
Here is a pic from a couple weeks ago of some pelicans that were swimming off Bayshore.
Sadly, I have stopped walking along Bayshore as 1) My car battery died and I drive down to the Marina to start and 2) it's fairly crowded with walkers and bikers and not everybody is good at social distancing so I've started walking around my neighborhood instead.
I'm only posting this because my mom says she loves seeing selfies. I. Look. Amazing. (hahaha!) |
We do, however, have the weird pirate ship house, where they have outfitted their pirate in a medical mask. (I feel like this is one of those picture games where you search for a bunch of random items: find a shark, a canon, and a cask of gun powder!)
We also have little pineapples.
There are also a number of houses that have these trees - which I've determined are Magnolia Grandiflora trees - so named because they have these giant, dinner-plate sized flowers. I put my hand next to this one so you could see how big it is.
A couple of other pics from my neighborhood walks...
This is our mailbox. |
You've seen our yellow hibiscus, but our neighbors have orange and pink. |
Ok, so are you ready for some new sunrise pictures?!
We like dog pictures better! |
Pelicans! |
Glorious! |
And some more dog pics too!
So sweet! |
Alright, and a few more sunrise pictures in case you didn't get enough.
That's it for now! Stay well and stay at home! Love you!
