A Special Anniversary Blog Post

Hi Everyone!

This blog is especially for Glenn. I thought this would be nicer than a card. However, since you guys have all been a part of our lives for all these years too, you are more than welcome to follow along.

I was thinking it would be fun to post a picture of Glenn and I for every year we've been married, which is 23 years as of tomorrow, July 17th. This was a more difficult challenge than I anticipated, however, since we've been together since long before digital cameras, modern computers or the internet.

Unfortunately, I was horrible at keeping photo albums. I have them, but they are mostly missing any dates or locations. My dad would be horrified. Also, because in the 90s there were no selfies, we had very few pics of the two of us together.

So anyway, I'm giving it my best shot. I have a few missing years, or ones that I guessed at, but this should be fairly accurate.

Here we go.

Ok - we weren't married yet here. This is one of our first formal dates. Glenn borrowed that jacket from Dean and I'm thinking we went to Red Lobster. This was probably in 1988. We were BABIES!

July 17, 1993. Our big day.

I'm thinking this was at Cathy and Mark's wedding in Allenberry, 1994.

OMG! We're adorable. This is us on vacation in Ocean City (we were with our college friends) - 1996.

Helping with the group dinner - same trip. Love this pic!

Christmas 1999. Wow. We are pale.

This is us in San Diego in 2000. This is a day or two before I ended up in the hospital with a perforated intestine. Good times!

2001 in Seven Springs at the lodge.

I think this is Xmas 2002. It's Christmas some year.

Look how happy we are! I think this is 2003. We are in our bar in Blackridge.

Here we are on Glen and Steph's boat. I'm pretty sure this is in 2004, the summer before the flood that washed their boat away.

Rome, Italy - 2005.

Dinner with Chad and Lisha in Tampa at Bonefish Grill. 10 years ago in 2006. My gosh we all look so different!

2007 at the Westmoreland County Courthouse Gala.

2008 - Ziplining in St. Maartin

Also 2008 - At our friend Matty's birthday. Stick-on mustaches were all the rage.

2009 at Ohiopyle. I think this may have been our first selfie!

2010 in Las Vegas. Good lord, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!

2011 - Also Vegas, the next year. I believe this was during our 18th anniversary

2012 - at the peak of someplace near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Trip to NYC over Valentine's Day weekend 2013. Saw Matthew Broderick in "Nice Work if You Can Get it."

August that same year, 2013, after we moved to Tampa. This was after my birthday attempt at stand-up paddle-boarding.

2014 - Our first long bike ride through Safety Harbor.

2015 - Goofing around at the St. Pete marina.

2016 - Us at Treasure Island.

My gosh. We sure do change a lot from year to year! The one thing that doesn't change is how much I love living life with you, Glenn! I can't wait to see what the next 23 years bring!
