Hope you are all having a jolly good time as we rapidly approach Christmas.
Despite the fact that Glenn and I don't feel like we know a ton of people down here, we have had a jam-packed social weekend. Friday, Glenn came to lunch with me and all my coworkers, which was fun. Here we all are.
Friday night, Glenn and I went to a holiday party at Ashley's house. (Ashley is my ex-worker from Bongo.) We had a surprisingly nice time. Her place was all decked out for the holidays and we met and chatted with some friendly folks.
Saturday, we packed up the pups for a walk at John Chestnut Park on Lake Tarpon. My favorite! (Mom and Dad, you may recall we took you there.) It was our only slightly chilly day in months, and I told Glenn that he absolutely could not wear earmuffs.

Look at my three cuties! |
We also saw lots of deer. They are very tame and are not bothered by dogs or people taking pictures of them. (Actually Deuce and Mojo did not seem to notice them at all.)
Plus, my handy Superzoom always helps.
She's got some wild eyebrows and appears to be smoking a cigar. |
And another of Glenn and the pups.
You can't really tell from their expressions, but the dogs are having a blast. |
Saturday night, I cooked up some buffalo chicken dip, and we headed across the street to our neighbor's house - John and Marie. They had a whole neighborhood Christmas party, so we had the chance to meet some of the neighbors we hadn't yet, and talk more with the ones that we have.
Their house was gorgeous - the whole living room wall slides away to a huge lanai and pool area, fire pit, etc. They had the house very elegantly decorated with two giant Christmas trees and little lights everywhere. We had a lot of fun and everyone was very friendly. It was nice being able to talk to the neighbors without our dogs barking at their dogs.
Anyway, that's about it. Today, I've been shopping and cleaning and made two batches of white chocolate peppermint fudge to take to work tomorrow. Glenn and I rode our bikes into town for lunch. We did not see any otters.
Still, it is a gorgeous, sunny day.
Tonight, Glenn and I have box seats at a Tampa Bay Lightning Game for a work event for Glenn. It should be nice, but Glenn is mad about missing the Steelers.
Anyway, hope you are all doing well. I shall leave you with a fun little Christmas song I found online that I thought was amusing. Love you!
