I've never blogged before on my own behalf, but I figured this might be a way for me to share some pics from our journey and give you some updates. We'll see how it works...
You've probably all heard of our moving day exploits. Here is when the truck arrived and we were still filled with unwarranted optimism.
Later that night, we camped out in an empty house.
Very classy. Still, Deuce liked the inflatable bed.
The next morning, after we successfully loaded the car onto the trailer (after a bit of an ordeal), we loaded the dogs into the truck, which had been tricked out as a luxury K9 transport vehicle.
Nine hours on the road later, we arrived in Charlotte and Jimmy's hotel room, which was just perfect for us. The dogs got their first ride on an elevator, which seemed to fascinate them. Here we are after a long day.

So the next day, we had another 10 hour drive, but finally arrived at our destination.
This pic not only shows our trailer, which amazingly stayed attached the whole trip, but also our rental house - the yellow one on the right, and our Pod. Note the cute brick street. We have brick walkways and driveway too.
